3. The problem

   Cannabis operators carry overhead no other retailer does: Metrc and state track-and-trace paperwork, age and delivery rules that shift by jurisdiction, and processors that either price the account as high-risk or drop it outright. Google and Meta refuse the ad spend on top of that, so the growth lever every other DTC brand pulls simply does not exist. The buyer is an operator who needs the site to earn its own traffic and take money without the stack fighting the category.

4. The approach

   Answer engines first, because they are the one acquisition channel still open to THC: Organization, Store, FAQ, Product and Article schema, an llms.txt, and a robots policy that explicitly welcomes AI crawlers, so the catalogue gets quoted where it is not allowed to be advertised.
