ChatGPT Skips You When It Can’t Corroborate You
ChatGPT recommends competitors when it can corroborate them and cannot build the same evidence trail for you — fix corroboration before writing more blogs.
William Spurlock Founder — Spurlock Studios Updated 19 MIN
ChatGPT recommends your competitors instead of you when it can assemble a corroborating evidence trail for them — consistent name, category fit, third-party mentions, reviews, and answer-shaped pages — and cannot do the same for you. Ranking on Google helps only when that evidence also shows up in the retrieval surfaces ChatGPT actually uses. More blog posts without corroboration rarely fix it.
This is the diagnostic spoke for recommendation exclusion. Strategy lives in the Answer Engine Optimization playbook. If the brand probe invents a year, an address, or an offer you never sold, that is a leftover-source problem — handle it with avoiding AI-hallucinated brand facts before you add more URLs.
The short answer
- ChatGPT is not ignoring your feelings. It is failing to corroborate your brand against the open web.
- Competitors win when directories, roundups, reviews, docs, and clear category pages agree on who they are.
- Google rank does not automatically transfer. Retrieval for ChatGPT Search is closer to Bing-indexed, publicly corroborable sources than to your Google Search Console position.
- Blocking GPTBot (training) is usually not the whole story. Blocking OAI-SearchBot can be.
- Fix sequence: facts → fetchability → answer pages → third-party corroboration → re-test the same prompt panel.
Why does ChatGPT recommend competitors instead of you?
When ChatGPT names three rivals and shrugs at you, operators hear “we’re invisible.” Mechanically, the model — or its search layer — found enough independent signals to justify naming them and not enough to justify naming you. Or it found conflicting signals and stayed conservative.
ChatGPT Search is built to pull live web sources and show them. OpenAI’s launch post says answers include links to news and blog posts, with a Sources panel under the response (OpenAI: Introducing ChatGPT search). The help article is more specific: ChatGPT Search rewrites your prompt into one or more targeted queries and sends those to partner search providers, including Bing (OpenAI Help: ChatGPT Search). If those rewritten queries return competitor roundups, review pages, and docs — and almost nothing that agrees on you — the recommendation list writes itself.
| What you feel | What usually happened | First ticket |
|---|---|---|
| “ChatGPT has never heard of us” | Brand + category returns only your site and socials | Third-party scaffolding |
| “It names everyone but us” | Competitors own the URLs the rewritten queries retrieve | Roundup / directory / review gap |
| “It describes us wrong, then skips us” | Conflicting facts make a recommendation unsafe | Fact packet + residue cleanup |
| “We rank on Google and still lose” | Google top 10 ≠ ChatGPT citation set | Bing + extractable pages + off-site proof |
| “We blocked AI bots to be safe” | OAI-SearchBot or a WAF rule cut retrieval | robots.txt + fetch logs |
Run this failure mode once before you rewrite anything:
| Signal | Competitor often has | You often have |
|---|---|---|
| Category page that answers “who is this for” | Clear, quotable | Vague hero copy |
| Third-party roundups / directories | 3–10 consistent listings | Google Business Profile only, or NAP conflicts |
| Reviews with category language | Volume + specifics | Sparse or generic |
| Docs / method pages | Steps, tables, criteria | Blog opinions without structure |
| Name consistency | One legal + trade name | Renames, DBAs, collisions |
If the right column describes you, “write more content” is the wrong first ticket.
What counts as a corroborating evidence trail?
An evidence trail is the set of public pages a retrieval system can fetch and treat as agreeing on the same entity. Your homepage is one node. It is not the trail.
I have been SEO certified since 2021. The AEO version of that work is still a fact sheet other people repeat — not a calendar of thought-leadership posts that only you signed.
| Layer | What ChatGPT can use | What does not count |
|---|---|---|
| Owned facts | About, services, FAQ, Organization / LocalBusiness markup that matches visible copy | Hero slogans, passworded PDFs, “we’ll tell you on the call” |
| Fetchability | HTTP 200, no login wall, search bots allowed | WAF challenges, JS-only text, noindex on the money URL |
| Index presence | URL findable via Bing-class retrieval and partner search | Google rank alone, or a sitemap nobody submitted |
| Independent repeat | Directories, reviews, roundups, trade press, association lists | Your own LinkedIn comments and a Medium cross-post of the same blog |
| Category language | “For [ICP] who need [job]” in reviews and listings | “Great service!!!” with no noun for the job |
schema.org’s Organization type is the shared vocabulary for name, URL, logo, and related identifiers (schema.org/Organization). Google’s Organization structured-data guide says homepage markup helps disambiguate the entity and that there are no required properties — add the ones that apply (Google Search Central: Organization). Markup that contradicts the visible page is a conflict you authored, not extra signal.
- One public name, one category noun, one founding story
- About + services state who you serve in the first screen
- Organization (or LocalBusiness) JSON-LD matches that copy
- At least a few third-party URLs repeat those facts
- Money pages return 200 without a login or a bot fight
A polished site with zero independent repeats is a brochure. ChatGPT does not owe a brochure a recommendation.
Why “never heard of my business” is a corroboration miss
Absence is not a personality judgment. It is a missing or conflicting record. Brand probes that invent a year or swap you for a same-name company are the same class of problem as recommendation skips — the trail is thin, split, or stale. Fix the packet first (avoiding AI-hallucinated brand facts); then come back to the recommendation panel.
| Probe result | Likely cause | Do not do this next |
|---|---|---|
| Blank / “I don’t have info” | No corroborable pages in the retrieval set | Publish 12 blogs this week |
| Competitor substituted | Category noun + geo match them, not you | Buy a “submit to ChatGPT” listing |
| Wrong industry or city | Name collision or leftover DBA | Rename mid-diagnostic |
| Right name, wrong offer | Old pages still outrank the current offer | Argue with the chat |
| Right name, no recommendation | Known as an entity, not as a category option | Treat brand awareness as the win |
Local or niche brands are the normal case, not the exception. Maps-only presence answers “where is this place.” It does not answer “who should I hire for this job.” You still need a clear About + services page, consistent LocalBusiness / Organization facts, a few third-party pages that repeat those facts, and FAQs for the questions sales already answers on calls.
Name collisions are a special case of “never heard of us.” The model found a [Your Brand] and it was not you.
| Collision type | How it shows up | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Same name, other city | Brand probe cites the other HQ | Geo + legalName + sameAs on every owned surface |
| Same name, other industry | Recommendation list is the wrong category | Category noun in the first sentence, not the tagline |
| Old DBA still live | ChatGPT uses the retired name, then skips the new one | Dated “formerly” line; do not pretend the old string never existed |
| Predecessor / merger | Two founding years, two product names | One packet, one current offer list, leftover pages redirected |
If the web still teaches the other company more densely than it teaches you, ChatGPT will keep recommending them. That is corroboration math, not a slight.
The first checks that explain competitor recommendations
Do these in order. Stop when you find a hard fail — that fail is the week’s job.
- Prompt capture — Ask the buyer question verbatim: “Recommend [category] for [ICP] in [geo if relevant].” Log brands named and URLs cited. Repeat in a fresh chat so one lucky run does not lie.
- Brand probe — Ask “What is [Your Brand]?” and “Is [Your Brand] a good option for [ICP]?” Log accuracy, age of claims, and whether a competitor gets substituted.
- Entity consistency — About page, Organization schema, LinkedIn, directories: same founding story, same offer nouns, same HQ. Conflicts make models hedge.
- Fetchability — Can key pages return 200 without login? Are you accidentally blocking search/retrieval crawlers while only thinking about training bots?
- Bing presence — Submit and verify the site in Bing Webmaster Tools. Spot-check whether priority URLs are indexed there. ChatGPT Search’s documented partner path includes Bing; treating Google alone as sufficient is a common miss (OpenAI Help: ChatGPT Search; Microsoft Learn: Bing Webmaster API).
- Corroboration scan — Search your brand + category outside your own site. If the first page of results is only you and social profiles, ChatGPT has little independent scaffolding.
Semrush (or equivalent) helps find the roundups and competitor pages already winning category SERPs. It does not replace the ChatGPT prompt panel. Use it to build the URL leaderboard, then go read those pages.
| Check | Pass | Hard fail |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt panel (2+ fresh chats) | You appear at least once, or a cited URL is yours | Zero mentions, competitor set is stable |
| Brand probe | Facts match the packet | Invented year, offer, or city |
| Entity consistency | About, schema, and top directories agree | Two founding years or two category nouns |
| Fetch | Money URLs 200; search bots allowed | Challenge page, 403, or OAI-SearchBot Disallow |
| Bing | Site verified; money URLs indexed | Never verified, or key URLs absent |
| Off-site scan | 3+ independent pages repeat name + category | Only owned properties and social bios |
Stop at the first hard fail. Shipping a comparison page while OAI-SearchBot is disallowed is theater.
When Search is on, read the Sources panel like a crawl log. Those URLs are the trail ChatGPT used for that run — not your sitemap, not your GSC top query.
- Copy every cited host into the sheet
- Tag each as owned / competitor / roundup / directory / review / press / community
- Note which rewritten-query guess those URLs would satisfy (category, geo, “best,” brand)
- If your domain is absent, the miss is retrieval, not “the model is biased”
- If your domain is present and the name is not, you have a mention gap, not an index gap
OpenAI’s help article is explicit that ChatGPT may send more than one partner query after it reads the first result set (OpenAI Help: ChatGPT Search). A category prompt can become “best [category] for [ICP] 2026” plus a geo variant. If you only optimized the homepage H1, you did not meet the queries the product actually sent.
Is it because you blocked GPTBot?
Usually no — and operators confuse the bots. OpenAI documents separate user agents with independent robots.txt tags. Allowing one and disallowing the other does not change the other. Search-result updates can take about 24 hours after a robots.txt change (OpenAI: Overview of OpenAI Crawlers).
| Bot / control | Typical job | If you block it |
|---|---|---|
| GPTBot | Training / absorption for foundation models | May reduce training inclusion. Not a clean “remove me from ChatGPT search answers” switch |
| OAI-SearchBot | Surfaces sites in ChatGPT search features | Opted-out sites are not shown in ChatGPT search answers, though they can still appear as navigational links |
| ChatGPT-User | User-initiated page visits (not automatic crawl) | robots.txt may not apply. OpenAI says this agent is not used to decide Search appearance — use OAI-SearchBot for that |
| Aggressive WAF / bot fights | Blocks anything “AI-looking” | Silent invisibility — robots.txt looks fine, fetch fails |
OpenAI’s own recommendation for search visibility is to allow OAI-SearchBot and allow requests from the published IP ranges (openai.com/searchbot; IP list at openai.com/searchbot.json). GPTBot has its own token and its own IP list (openai.com/gptbot.json).
A common 2026 stance: Disallow GPTBot if you do not want training inclusion; Allow OAI-SearchBot if you want ChatGPT Search citations. Those are two lines, not one “block OpenAI” instinct.
User-agent: GPTBot
Disallow: /
User-agent: OAI-SearchBot
Allow: /
Check robots.txt, CDN bot rules, and actual fetch logs. Verify IPs against the JSON lists — user-agent strings get spoofed. If you only blocked GPTBot and still lose recommendation prompts, look at corroboration and Bing next, not at another blog calendar.
Does Google ranking transfer to ChatGPT?
Not as a score. A top-three Google result can still lose a ChatGPT recommendation.
Semrush’s 2026 AI-visibility writeup compared traditional results against pages cited by AI products on a set of SaaS queries. ChatGPT’s overlap with Google’s top 10 was 2.1% in that test — the lowest of the platforms they listed (Semrush: AI visibility). Treat that as a measured miss, not as “Google is useless.” It is why page-one SEO alone does not force a recommendation.
| Reason a Google winner still loses ChatGPT | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Thin extractable facts | Brand story buried under motion; no tables, criteria, or “who / not for” |
| Competitors own the citeable third-party URLs | Roundups, G2-class listings, trade press, association pages |
| Proof lives behind JavaScript retrieval scrapes poorly | View-source vs rendered text; server-render the facts |
| Category noun differs from the market | You say “growth partner”; buyers and rivals say “B2B SEO agency” |
| Not in the Bing-class index ChatGPT Search can query | Webmaster verification, sitemap, IndexNow, URL inspection |
| Conflicting entity facts | Two years, two HQ cities, two product names |
IndexNow is the ping protocol Bing and other engines use so they hear about adds, updates, and deletes instead of waiting on organic recrawl (IndexNow). A ping is not a ranking. It is how you stop “we shipped the criteria page three weeks ago” from being invisible to the index ChatGPT Search can see.
Bing verification, in order:
- Add the host in Bing Webmaster Tools (import from Google Search Console if that is faster).
- Confirm the sitemap is submitted and returning 200.
- Inspect the 5–10 money URLs. If they are discovered but not indexed, fix
noindex, canonicals, and crawl errors before you write another post. - Submit those URLs after material edits (Bing URL submission help).
- Ping IndexNow for the same set (IndexNow documentation). IndexNow’s own FAQ says a ping does not guarantee indexing — quota, quality, and
robots.txtstill win.
Treat Google rank as a helpful prior, not a passport. The pages that win recommendations are fetchable, extractable, and repeated off-site — whether or not they sit in your favorite GSC query.
A page is extractable when a model can lift a decision without watching the hero video.
- Who it is for, in one sentence, above the fold
- Who it is not for, in a bullet list
- Criteria or comparison table (not a metaphor)
- Named facts: geo, offer, founding, proof — same strings as the packet
- Visible without executing a pile of client-side JavaScript
- Canonical URL is the one you will log in the prompt sheet
How important are reviews and roundups?
For recommendation prompts, they are often the difference between “named” and “skipped.” Models prefer sources that look independently maintained. A polished homepage loses to a mediocre roundup that lists five vendors with criteria.
Semrush’s 2026 AI Visibility Index (126 million U.S. prompts, January–April 2026) reported that ChatGPT cites an average of 15 sources per response and often draws on community and reference platforms such as Reddit and Wikipedia (Semrush: 2026 AI Visibility Index). That is not a reason to spam Reddit. It is a reason to expect ChatGPT to look past your domain when it names options.
A later Semrush / Growth Memo study of 3,981 domain appearances found ChatGPT cited a source 87% of the time but named the brand in the answer text only 20.7% of the time — the reverse of Gemini in that dataset (Semrush: ghost citations study). Recommendation work is mention work. A citation without a name is progress. It is not the buyer-facing win.
Prioritize in this order when budget is tight:
- Fix NAP / name / category conflicts on the three directories buyers already use.
- Earn or update one honest roundup / “best of” / association listing where your ICP actually reads.
- Collect reviews that mention the job-to-be-done, not only star ratings.
- Publish one comparison or criteria page you would be proud to see cited.
- Only then expand blog volume.
| Review / listing quality | What a model can lift | What it teaches |
|---|---|---|
| “Great service!!!” | Sentiment only | Nothing about when to recommend you |
| “Replaced our weekly invoice chase for a 12-person shop” | Job, size, outcome | Category fit |
| Roundup with inclusion criteria | Named comparison | You belong in the set |
| Directory row with a different category | A conflicting label | Hedge or skip |
| Fake or incentivized sludge | Short-term mention risk | Long-term trust debt |
Reviews without category language underperform. If the only third-party sentence about you could apply to a plumber or a PR firm, ChatGPT has no reason to put you on a shortlist.
How do you reverse a competitor-dominated answer?
Do not ask ChatGPT to “remember” you. Change the evidence trail, then re-test the same prompts.
| Week focus | Ship | Success signal |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Fact sheet + About + schema alignment; Bing verification; crawler / WAF check | Brand probe stops inventing wrong years / offers |
| Week 2 | One criteria / comparison page + directory cleanup + review language pass | Category prompt names you at least once in N runs |
| Weeks 3–4 | Roundup / PR targets from the gap map; strengthen method pages | Citation or stable mention on 2+ money prompts |
Failure mode: publishing five thought-leadership posts while About still contradicts Crunchbase. The model will keep trusting the denser competitor trail.
The one page that most often moves a recommendation prompt is a criteria page, not a manifesto. Write it so a Sources panel can quote the table.
| Block | What to put on the page | What to leave off |
|---|---|---|
| Opening answer | Who you are for, in two sentences | Atmosphere, awards reel |
| Criteria table | 5–8 decision rows (size, stack, timeline, risk) | Vague “it depends” prose with no grid |
| Comparison | You vs the two names ChatGPT already recites | A 12-vendor matrix you cannot defend |
| Not-for | Three honest disqualifiers | Fake humility that still claims everyone |
| Proof | Named, dated, visible facts | “Trusted by industry leaders” |
| Next step | One CTA that matches the offer | Three competing buttons |
There is no official “submit my brand to ChatGPT” desk. OpenAI’s published controls are crawler access, fetchable pages, and whatever the search partners already indexed. If a vendor cannot explain how their deliverable changes that trail, keep the wallet closed.
A 2-week recovery plan you can run without a rebrand
Days 1–3 — Baseline
- Freeze 15–25 prompts (recommendation, comparison, brand, “best for”)
- Run the panel in ChatGPT; log brands + URLs; note whether Search / Sources appeared
- Repeat each money prompt in a fresh chat
- Screenshot the worst misses
- Export a competitor URL leaderboard (manual or via your gap sheet)
Days 4–7 — Truth and fetch
- One-page fact sheet (name, offers, geo, ICP, founding)
- Align About + schema + top directories to that sheet
- Verify the site in Bing Webmaster Tools; request indexing on 5–10 money URLs
- Turn on IndexNow if the CMS supports it, or ping the URLs you just fixed (IndexNow documentation)
- Confirm OAI-SearchBot is allowed; confirm GPTBot policy is intentional
- Pull CDN / WAF logs for OpenAI IP ranges; lift false positives
Days 8–14 — Citeable proof
- Ship one answer-first criteria or comparison page (table at the top)
- Update the services page with extractable bullets (who / when / not for)
- Request review updates that mention category outcomes
- Pitch or update one roundup / directory that already ranks for your category
- Re-run the same prompt panel; log deltas only
If nothing moved, you do not need “more AI content.” You need a deeper corroboration problem — usually identity conflicts or zero third-party scaffolding. That is visibility audit territory.
What not to do while you are angry at ChatGPT
Anger writes bad tickets. The product is doing what a retrieval stack does when one trail is dense and the other is you talking to yourself.
| Temptation | Why it backfires |
|---|---|
| Buy fake reviews or spam Reddit threads | Short-term mentions that look synthetic become long-term trust debt |
| Rename the company mid-diagnostic | You split the entity before you finished the fact sheet |
| Treat one ChatGPT answer as permanent | Variance is real; panels beat anecdotes |
| Block every AI bot “to be safe” | You may cut the retrieval path you are trying to win |
| Commission 20 AI-written blogs | Adds tokens without corroboration |
| Schema-only project | Markup without visible facts still loses |
| Argue in the chat (“remember us”) | Nothing durable changes in the open web |
Do not rename mid-flight. Finish the fact sheet first. If you already renamed, the residue work is the same as a wrong founding year: hunt leftover strings, then outcompete what you cannot edit.
How do you measure whether the evidence trail is working?
Track three rates on the frozen panel every two weeks. Do not mix them.
- Mention rate — brand named on recommendation prompts
- Citation rate — your URL credited when the product shows sources
- Accuracy rate — brand probes that get facts right
A rising mention rate with flat citations means you are becoming known but not yet the source. That is progress — different tickets than total absence. A rising citation rate with no mention is the ghost-citation pattern Semrush measured: the page is used, the name never makes the sentence (Semrush: ghost citations study). For recommendation prompts, keep pushing for the name.
| Metric | How to log | What a stall usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Mention rate | Brand string in the answer text, case-insensitive | Category noun or off-site proof still missing |
| Citation rate | Your host in Sources / inline links | Page not extractable, not indexed, or not the URL retrieval picked |
| Accuracy rate | Founding, offer, geo match the packet | Residue pages still teaching the old story |
| Competitor share | Count of rival names per prompt | They still own the roundups the rewritten queries hit |
| Variance | Same prompt, two fresh chats | One run is noise; six zeros is a signal |
Log the rewritten-query hypothesis too. If ChatGPT Search is on, the Sources panel tells you which URLs won. Those URLs are the trail. Your unpublished Notion brief is not.
- Panel frozen (no wording drift week to week)
- Each prompt run at least twice
- Search / no-search noted
- Mention, citation, and accuracy scored separately
- Owner named for the next hard fail
When does the diagnostic point to an audit?
Hire or run a formal visibility audit when the two-week plan cannot explain the skip.
- Competitors dominate every recommendation prompt and you cannot see why after two weeks of truth-layer work
- Multiple product names or mergers left conflicting entity trails
- Leadership wants a prioritized 30/60/90 instead of a blog backlog
- You suspect WAF / crawler / Bing issues but lack engineering time to prove it
- Brand probes are accurate and you are still never named — the gap is off-site, not copy
The audit is a corroboration map, not a content calendar. If the deliverable is “20 new posts,” you bought the false fix.
Prompt panel starter for recommendation exclusion
Copy this into your sheet and customize nouns. Keep the wording boring — buyers do.
| # | Prompt type | Template |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Category | Recommend [category] options for [ICP] |
| 2 | Best-for | Best [category] for [use case / size] |
| 3 | Geo (if relevant) | [Category] companies in [city / region] |
| 4 | Comparison | [You] vs [Competitor A] for [ICP] |
| 5 | Brand | What is [Your Brand] and who is it for? |
| 6 | Objection | Is [Your Brand] worth it compared to alternatives? |
| 7 | Job-to-be-done | Who should I hire to [specific job] without [common failure]? |
| 8 | Exclusion | When is [Your Brand] the wrong fit? |
Run each at least twice. Log mention / citation / accuracy. Variance between runs is normal; a zero across six runs is a signal.
Add two controls so the panel does not lie to you:
| Control | Why |
|---|---|
| Fresh chat per money prompt | Prior turns contaminate retrieval and memory |
| Same wording every cycle | You cannot compare week 2 to week 0 if you “improved” the prompt |
| Note Search on / off | A no-search answer is training residue, not a live citation miss |
| Save the Sources list | Those URLs are the competitor trail you have to beat |
If the comparison prompt names you and the category prompt does not, you are an entity with no category membership. That is a listing and criteria-page problem, not a homepage problem.
Common false fixes operators buy first
| Bought fix | Why it disappoints |
|---|---|
| 20 AI-written blogs | Adds tokens without corroboration |
| Fake review packs | Detectable; poisons trust signals |
| “Submit to ChatGPT” directories | No official ranking submission desk |
| Schema-only projects | Markup without facts still loses |
| Blocking all AI bots “for safety” | Can cut retrieval while you chase citations |
| One viral LinkedIn post | A mention is not a trail; it decays |
| Paying for a press release blast | Undated, syndicated sludge often adds conflict, not proof |
If a vendor cannot explain how their deliverable changes the evidence trail ChatGPT can fetch — bots allowed, Bing-visible, independently repeated, extractable category proof — keep your wallet closed.
More blogs are not a restore strategy. The trail is.
FAQ
Is it because I blocked GPTBot?
Usually not by itself. GPTBot is OpenAI’s training crawler; ChatGPT’s live search path is a different control surface, documented as OAI-SearchBot. Check for a search-bot Disallow, WAF rules that challenge OpenAI IPs, and missing corroboration before you assume a GPTBot block is the whole story. OpenAI says the two robots.txt tags are independent, and Search adjustments can take about 24 hours.
Do I need more blog posts?
Not first. Recommendation prompts reward corroboration and extractable category proof. Ship fact alignment, fetchability, Bing indexation, one criteria page, and third-party consistency before you expand publishing volume. A twelfth blog post that only you signed does not replace a roundup your buyers already read.
Does Google ranking transfer to ChatGPT?
No automatic transfer. Strong Google rankings help when the same pages are fetchable, visible to Bing-class retrieval, and backed by third-party agreement — but page-one SEO alone does not force a ChatGPT recommendation. Semrush’s tested overlap between Google’s top 10 and ChatGPT citations was 2.1% on that SaaS set. Treat rank as a prior, not a passport.
How important are reviews and roundups?
High for “who should I hire / buy” prompts. Independent listings and specific reviews often outrank a beautiful homepage because they look like external corroboration. Prioritize honest presence and job-to-be-done language over star-count volume. Fake reviews are a trust problem you will still be paying for after the mention fades.
Should I fix Bing indexation?
Yes as a baseline control. Verify the site in Bing Webmaster Tools and confirm money URLs are indexed. ChatGPT Search’s help docs describe partner queries that include Bing. Treating Google Search Console as the only index that matters is a frequent reason ChatGPT “never heard of” an otherwise healthy brand. IndexNow can speed discovery; it does not guarantee a citation.
What does a 2-week recovery plan look like?
Days 1–3 baseline the prompt panel. Days 4–7 fix facts, schema, crawlers, and Bing. Days 8–14 ship one citeable criteria page plus directory and review cleanup, then re-run the same panel. If mention rate is still zero, escalate to a full corroboration audit instead of another content sprint.
